Vintage Games

Do you every have those days where you just are not feeing creative? I have felt that way for the past couple days. I have these cool vintage games that I want to create some assemblages with to give my husband for Christmas. I have played around with the pieces over and over and just end up putting everything back into their boxes. Hopefully my brain cramp goes away, and I can come up with something fun and creative. I also have an old Yahtzee game, Concentration, Bingo, and Pokeno to play with.

Ephemera Heaven!

OMG!!!! What a find I made today. I was out in our very messy garage looking for something, and I came across an old trunk of mine that probably had not been opened since we bought our house in 1992. Inside, I found valentines, birthday cards (even from my 2nd birthday), postcards, felt pennants, newspapers, more and more “stuff” from my childhood. I found a “book” that I made in 2nd grade. The little story was dated October 28, 1965. That was 43 years ago. I scanned the cover and the back page. What a cool Halloween find!

Cool Vintage Postcards

I was digging through a box in my room, looking for some Halloween stickers, and I came across about 12 vintage postcards that I had purchased about 30 years ago at a little gift store on Olivero Street in Los Angeles. I remember buying them for no specific purpose, I just thought they were too funny, and I have always liked old stuff. I scanned a couple of them this afternoon to share with you. More will follow in the days to come.
